Since 1984, Heart & Soul Counseling has provided the Long Island community with a safe place to heal from psychological and social trauma. Currently we have eight psychotherapists and four psychiatric nurse practitioners on staff. When you visit, you will feel the nature of our warm professionalism, and our kind, courteous and down to earth atmosphere.

It is the mission of Heart & Soul Counseling to educate, empower and care for those individuals, groups and communities who have suffered dependency, illness and oppression. Heart & Soul Counseling’s professional staff treats children, adults, couples and families. Most staff members have been trained to utilize cognitive behavioral treatment and psychodrama to address issues of loss, trauma, depression, PTSD, and special needs of children and adolescents. We’ve been helping clients in the LGBTQ+ community for over 20 years, and our staff members are members of the WPATH (World Professional Association of Transgender Health).
