The standard fee for each 45 minute therapy session is $90.00. Some rates vary depending on services. Your medical insurance plan will likely cover most of this fee depending on your mental health benefits.
Heart and Soul accepts the insurances listed below. You may click on your insurance provider's logo to go to the provider’s website where you can learn about your benefits.
We do not accept Medicaid but we do accept Medicaid HMOs such as Affinity, Emblem, Empire and others listed below. We also accept Family Health Plus and Child Health Plus plans listed below.
Prior approval is required for non-emergency admissions, partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs.
There is no authorization required with most Aetna plans. Call the phone number on the back of your card to confirm your mental health benefits.
There are no co-payments for services under Child Health Plus, so you don't pay anything when your child receives care through these plans.
We are currently participating with CIGNA. We are in network providers so please call to schedule an appointment. You may want to find out what your mental health copayment is before scheduling an appointment with our staff.

Healthnet / MHN / Tricare have varying benefit plans. Call the phone number on your card to verify your benefits and whether or not preauthorization is required.

NYSHIP/Value Options This is the insurance plan teachers and government workers have in New York state. Your mental health benefits are administered through Value Options. You do not need preauthorization with this plan, you have a copay of $20 and you are entitled to unlimited visits.
